Hey Everyone,
Great News, I competed in the 2008 Nashville Star Search Competition, right in the heart of Nashville and I took out the Major prize, "Best in Show."
I won a recording contract, as well as Artist development. I'm so excited, I couldn't believe it when they announced me as the winner, I was so nervous going up to collect the prize. I was thinking things like, "This just never happens to me, it's the kind of thing you see on the movies, it's not real!" But I had to pinch myself a couple of times just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was really happy with my performance on the day, so I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, all you can do is your best in those situations and just wait and see. No need to knock yourself up about it. I had a great time in Nashville, I met some amazing people and I was glad I got to experience this with them.
So now that I'm home and trying to get over jet lag, I have alot of work to do, and I'm hoping to head over again in February sometime.
